Professional Career & Recording Experience

During the 1980s, I balanced live performance with teaching contemporary music for Kent County Schools in the UK. At the same time, I performed regularly with bands, sharpening both technical ability and stage presence.

I later moved to London, immersing myself in the vibrant music scene. By night I performed in bars and clubs; by day I worked in professional recording studios. During this period, I recorded music for major labels including Virgin Records and Acid Jazz, gaining valuable studio and production experience that informs my teaching today.

International Experience & Musical Expansion

In the 1990s, I relocated to Florida and chose to focus exclusively on teaching. Surrounded by talented musicians, I expanded my knowledge of modern techniques and structured music education systems.

Later, my journey took me to Panama, where I developed a deep appreciation for jazz and Latin rhythms — influences that broadened my musical perspective and enriched my teaching approach.

Teaching in Dubai — Structured Guitar Education

Now based in Dubai, I provide structured online guitar lessons to students across the Middle East and internationally.
